minus-squareNegativeLookBehind@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·2 months agoYour friend sounds pretty lazy. He should be working 7 days per week, 12 hour shifts, for no extra pay.
minus-squarenesc@lemmy.cafelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·2 months agoWhat else can you expect from entitled “people” these days? He probably not even arrives to office half an hour before work.
minus-squareBlue_Morpho@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·2 months agoHe probably does BECAUSE HE’S THE OWNER AND GETS ALL THE PROFITS. What is infuriating is when owners think that employees need to be as dedicated as they are despite not getting the same profit from their labor.

minus-squarebassomitron@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·2 months agoYeah, tons of small business owners often make diddly squat in profit. They might pull in a 7-digit revenue, but if their overhead and/or debt is crazy high, they might actually only be making like $50k/yr in take-home pay, if even that.
