This is because a lot of individuals tried to start an arbitration process with valve and that got costly for Valve. So now they try to force everyone to do it in a different way.

Do you pay for Lemmy? Did you donate something? Or do you think you don’t need to, because it’s free?
They are banning emulators but are then using them themselves. They are banning roms but are then using those same roms themselves.
Sounds like hypocrisy to me
