If it doesn’t have PVP, micro transactions or Denuvo I’m interested.

It will be tied to Microsoft and Gamepass heavily. Neither of those things interest me.
To the surprise of no one. Sony has tasted the PC money and there is not coming back from it.
Yes, I understand the theory but at the end of the day I watch reviews so I don’t have to interpolate data or make guessing. If I see something like this I can clearly see that, given the same GPU I can expect that my 5900x should be around 6% slower than the 9800X 3D at 4k on average and here I can see that it is around 15% slower at 1440p which is useful for when using DLSS. This makes clear for me that an upgrade is not worth it. Those are the kind of details I want to view on reviews.
I don’t understand this line of thinking. I mean from the point of view of a reviewer and maybe some enthusiasts it make sense but for the average Joe like me with a 5900x that only play games at 4k and who is planning to upgrade to a 5800/5900 GPU when they release, all we want to know is: Will this new CPU improve my FPS? And if so by how much.
Another day, another corpo bullshit.
Coffee will continue until morale improves.
Next time the controller will play the game for us so we can do other stuff instead.
I think this summarizes pretty well the current state of video games.
Yep, the more companies you own, the more revenue you will have, even if your products are mediocre at best.
I think the term dev is a little misused here. Shithead management might be more appropriate.
They can barely maintain a single game and now after firing almost half their employees they expect to maintain 3 games? Well, I’m grabbing my popcorn…
I also have stop being interested in games because of Denuvo. Understandable.
The freedom to make a PNS account maybe?
Sounds like a good idea but watched a video and it looked obnoxious, the only good moments were when explosions actually illuminated the screen.
I use Figma (a UX design tool). It has browser support but I prefer the native app experience, I’ve seen there are Linux versions on GitHub but I heard they have some compatibility or performance issues sometimes and I need it to be 100% reliable as it is for work. I also use some Adobe products sporadically (Illustrator and Photoshop) FOSS software doesn’t make the cut for professional use, even if they do nearly the same, since you need standard industry tools.
I also like gaming and even though Linux is almost there (I love my Steam Deck) I see so many people struggling here and there and I really don’t feel like tinkering, I already tinker enough on Windows to get my games working properly.
But all in all I’m still interested in Linux and keeping an eye on it and might pull the trigger some day even if is only for personal use/tinkering :)
Sadly it is not about learning Linux but getting the software you use on a daily basis natively supported by the OS, that is why Linux is still not there for me yet.
Yes I know, that is because Phonak use Bluetooth classic, and older standard with more lag, more battery consumption and less quality but far more compatibility. I heard you can connect a Phonak to pretty much anything Bluetooth capable, even old dumb phones or mp3 players.
I have the Resound Nexia which use Bluetooth LE audio, MFI and ASHA protocol which are supposedly better but you need devices that support them. MFI is for Apple devices and ASHA is Android exclusive. But outside of that you are pretty much screwed. LE Audio and the LC3 codec are here (since several years ago) to fix that but adoption it’s being very slow.
For what I’ve read the distro in which Steam OS is based has already BT LE audio and the LC3 codec support built in but it is up to Valve to implement it at a OS level. One can dream :)
Not the kind of game I was expecting a sequel, but will ply it gladly.
That’s a lot of porn in a single SSD.
