Small screen, combined with poor/touch screen controls, and wanting to make money no matter what by pushing ads everywhere because no one wants to pay $10+ for a mobile software.
The only time I consider a mobile a game is when there is an ad-free option available.
For those kind of devices, the manufacturer should be required to make it possible to easily load a third-party firmware when they declare a device as obsolete.
I understand it’s not financially viable to support a device beyond a certain threshold, but there’s likely a community behind those that are willing to keep these devices alive for a while longer, with the benefit of reducing the amount of ewaste.
Especially with the rootkit scandal from 2005, the PSN breach from 2011, the internal employee data breach in 2023, etc
I use handbrake with libaacs, libbdplus and an up-to-date keydb

With these in place, you can just read and transcode a Blu Ray like any other media.
I hate it because it’s just a sign of disrespect of the publisher towards the legitimate customers. Guess who has a better experience when the DRM goes to shit or slows down the game? Those who didn’t pay.
I just won’t be part of the first customers, I’ll wait for the game to be cleaned up of this bs.
I’ll just wait for it to show up DRM-free on GOG at a discount ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
tor.defcon.org is considered a guard node, and your browser likely chose to prefer that one to bootstrap itself.

And it’s easier to certify that a game works as expected when there aren’t too many hardware revisions.
it will still require a PSN login.
I think Rockstar simply abandonned the PS3 version.
Already bought it with my own code, thanks for sharing :)
55% off coupons are being sent by emails to the GOG mailing list subscribers too.
It’s just that it’s hard to actually quantify, so the shareholders will prefer to go with enforcement that forces people to buy the games and console than taking a risk on hypotheticals.
Personally, I never bought a Wii U/Switch and played my fair share of games through emulation only.
I’d go with Bazzite, which is what SteamOS and Fedora Atomic Desktop would look like if they had a child.
I kinda get that they’ll do whatever than can to shut down an emulator for a console still selling and available on the shelves though. Not that there aren’t legitimate cases for it (homebrew software and games), but that’s not what Nintendo is concerned about.
But screw that for legacy consoles, game preservation is important too.
Strange, my Yubikey allows me to authenticate using Passkeys just fine by entering the PIN that protects my stored credentials.
lmao wrong community
