Is getting to the moon the crazy part or is it that you survived the landing? Seems like most people don’t make it into orbit.
Oops wrong comment sorry.
Yes I think that is the draw. I posted this question because I recently got a VR headset and went to youtube to bask in it, get recommendations. I felt bombarded by hustle culture and youtubers trying to rope me into their career progression. Title card, into, ‘what’s up guys’, 8-12 minutes (except that guy asking us to put on his 8 hour video before we go to sleep), perfect audio, expensive studio background with merch, grinning/surprise/red arrow thumbnails, ‘only 5% of you watching subscribe’. Ahh. It’s just too much sometimes.
That’s the furthest I’ve seen anyone get in KSP.
Using a halo style head strap the headset isn’t pressed against your face so you can remove the foam pad. It’s what the Quest pro used.
I ended up sideloading Kiwi browser and installing ublock, sponsorblock, and a gdpr tool. Much easier than I expected… much easier than trying to get linux to work.
Have you tried an open interface?
Friday, am drunk. At least during the daylight I’ll be sober living my life.
Good news though, my workplace is attempting to form a union. Signed my card today. Fuck management, the spineless bastards.
I don’t think that’s changed with the Quest 3. The interface is hard and the balance is whacky, but I wasn’t expecting comfort more getting “away”. MR and passthrough make it feel less claustrophobic.
I went ahead today after a lot of deliberation and bought one. Big upgrade from the Go but also familiar in a lot of ways (not comfortable, hot, sort of nauseating). I’m happy. I cleaned the kitchen for the first time in a week. It took me out of my head for a few hours and that’s what I wanted.
400mg
I’m still under that or about there. I had 3 french presses and a moka pot yesterday, that’s a bit above 400mg but represents peak consumption.
Also, I don’t think I care. Better than the alternatives I have access to.
I feel like my sleep is better than normal, nothing is compounding.
I’m feeling better today finally. Woke up at 8am, energy is good, thinking clearly. Ready to take a break from social media for a while.
It’s only when I’m deep in depression, the vast majority of the time I only drink 1-2 cups a day.
How did you end up getting diagnosed?
Never had yerba matte but I have an Italian friend and he drinks it non stop.
It doesn’t seem to affect me in the way it normally does. I can drink coffee at 6 and sleep at 1130.
Just in the youtube app, like regular youtube experience w/o an adblocker was brutal.
I had a Go a long time ago and I loved it for watching movies but the small sweet spot was an issue. I feel a strong pull towards pancake lenses but I think the cost is still out of reach… a new q3 is approaching 1k after straps and games.
I stayed off for a day but I need longer, feel terrible today. Book is a great idea.
