Can we stop posting screenshots of games on here. It has taken over the games sub, and nobody really cares about what you’re playing at this very moment.

I hate when I accidently spend months developing an ad feature that gets turned on by accident in my ps5.

I loved ff16, some people don’t like the batte system, but I found it to be really fast paced, and made me feel like I was a badass. The story us pretty good, in my opinion.

On the flip side, my friend played it and said it was fun, but the story was predictable.

Just play the game and find out.

Lots of people in this thread who have no idea what it takes to make a game.

Game engines are harder to make/update than you think, and if everybody’s expertise is in a homegrown engine, you cant just expect the team to know newer technologies at the drop of a hat.

If you can’t draw inspiration from other games, then the gaming industry as a whole is in trouble.

Just because it has a resemblance to pokemon doesn’t make it pokemon. The gameplay is completely different.

These can’t be real, they read like they were generated by an AI prompt.

Anybody who’s played palworld knows the game is nothing like pokemon. What’s next, are they going to claim they are the only company who can make games with 4 legged animals?

Well, you did change the story of ff7 a ton, which nobody asked for. I purposely bought the game from gamestop so Square Enix wouldn’t get my money for the game. ff16 on the other I bought on my ps5, and I thought it was great.

Fall Out 4 was fine, definitely didn’t fail. Your expectation of games is way too high.
