isn’t that supposed to be based on nextstep which is also what osx is based on?

there was this monster factory or something toy in target with his face on it. super creepy. would not want to give to kids.
Not sure if its similar but I was never able to be into anything and always sorta felt like a hanger on and on the periphery because I just can’t get really into the particular group. Now I still consider many people my friends its just that I kinda barely meet the requirements to be one of them. Even in work I resist heavily being a specialist an when I look for work (like right now actually) and they ask what am looking for I say what im really looking for is an employer who is looking the critical thinking skills that are at my core and ability to learn as necessary. Then I follow it up that what matters is how the company values things and as far as skills X is my most recent thing but I have done alot of Y and way back I used to do Z. I guess what im saying is I sorta don’t want to be to in depth with anything but rather do different things and thats fine. I will see some folks regularly. Not as much as they might see others but decently enough. I do feel like the world wants me to choose a lane though.
I still don’t get it. Is the pez dispenser figure supposed to then be important to the main character. is it connected to him in someway?
ini as in windows init files?
well its text but its just a bit more complex of a flat file. like yaml. like one thing I really liked about cisco ios was how the config file the commands where pretty much the same thing. granted thats not unix but its the simplicity level that is ideal to me.
yeah I just hate the move away from flat text files honestly. Its one thing I did not like about windows NT with the registry. databasing up the config.
I would love this. Not only would it be great to have a central point but often times their search is bad. Even intentionally so. Like crunchyroll makes it impossible to see whats available to a free account. You end up having to roam around until you get frusted and realize plex, freevee, pluto, tubi, roku, etc has a pretty good selection with less runaround.
at least unix is well represented.
thats a dangerous game as I take the amount of space a game is taking up when removing them from my steamdeck. I mean if I can remove one game to put on 3 or 4 more well. thats a no brainer.
