Man o man, I love me some zomboid. Almost everyday, when I leave for work, about 5 minutes into my journey I get the zomboid heebie-jeebies :-).
Lemmy share the beginnings of our old Cookhouse:
And I only fell 3 times while making the roof!

Ouch, my hip.
I daydream of Zomboid every week :) I just want to get out there and SURVIVE, man!
Change it to only have effect in a radius, on non-player entities. BOOM #ImADeveloperNow
Maybe combine the loot fest with some hades difficult combat? I have similar feelings as yours, the genre is really cool but in the end, it’s all just this hidden grindfest? At least with (real) brutal combat, you still need to “make it happen”, big numbers is just the req.
I thought it was one of the most intense city builders I ever played. I love the genre, and I love this style. Pretty difficult as well.
That’s why they put stomach rolls on skyscrapers. Under heavy winds, if it doesn’t stomach rolls, it breaks!
My Brothers / Sisters from other misters, I have been successfully avoiding ads for around 2/3 years and wow, no regrets. Talk about a war worth fighting, life is better without. This new in-navigation ad felt specifically made for folk like us, who are almost unreachable for marketing. I did some FOSS car navigation today. Bye Gmaps :)
I like how accepting the world is a very
dark
place, where you work hard for your own points of light, helps me appreciate how dark this day is while being minimally affected emotionally. Feels to me that being more comfortable with darkness/bad luck/mortality/terror/“The bad parts about being human” (or whatever you want to call it) gives me more space and safe-environment (in mindspace) to understand how completely screwed some things are. Stay strong & Good luck ❤️
