I wonder if they pay a fee since it’s hooked into my credit card.
Whenever I see social media say something dropped/jumped, I do the same thing as you - I visit the portfolio and take a birds eye view.
I still think about the one time redditors celebrated a company’s stock dropping by 90% over the last day.
But what the picture left out was how the company was climbing by 1000% in a week before dropping.

I remember one of the funnier scams.
They said they were from USPS, and in order to finish shipping, they needed me to pay the tariff.
It didn’t have anything about me. No login. No address. No tracking number. It just wanted me to hit that pay now button.
But even then, why would I pay a tariff for something I didn’t order?
That’s impressive!

I always have both an appreciation and judge people who do things like this.
I appreciate it because it’s neat that people are willing to go the distance for the fun of it. People who limit themselves to specific tech or libraries. People who code for old tech like those who make brand new “retro” games, or code for Pico-8.

Diablo Immortal made a depressing amount of money.
Us sweats mean nothing when there’s a billion dollars on the table for them.
And this isn’t even a edgecase. Even Bethesda/Nintendo saw their mobile games print money more than their regular games. Fortunately they have souls and think about their core audience.
Tbh I’ll be surprised it this gets any upvotes.
But I grew up with this series on the ol’ 8-bit Nintendo. And if you search for it online, there’s NO news story about this. I found it because I have a calendar reminder to visit their Kickstarter every few weeks.
The game looks great!
Hopefully this gets them some Lemmy attention and gets them some marketing.
