URL is a link to a post about a Xbox one translation layer for windows. There is also work being done on a PS4 one where they recently played bloodborne using it. Would this work on Linux I would think so since wine is a translation layer for windows so if you just translate Xbox -> win -> Linux it would work… right? I’m not very informed on the matter and would like to know. Thanks

ShadPS4 is what people are using to play Bloodborne on PC, and it is a traditional emulator, not a translation layer. It has a native Linux port already, no need for additional trickery. Not sure about XBox as I don’t really follow much XBox homebrew or emulation.

They’re… Okay. I’ve tried to do xemu quite a few times, but there’s so much to be translated. I can get a max of 15fps using xemu on Linux.

Remember it’s not just PowerPC to x86 translation, then you also add on the windows to Linux translations. There’s a lot happening and the performance suffers

Edit sorry, Xbox one is x86, I was thinking of 360.

PS4/5 and every xbox are x86

PS4/5 and OG Xbox/XBone/SX are x86. I always thought 360 useds a xeon, but i was wrong, it was power PC. TIL

      PS3 is PowerPC.
